HOPPP! ("we", "our", "us") is developed and maintained by an independent developer. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have. We built this app on a local-first principle: your behavioral data lives on your device by default.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide: When you create an account, we collect your email address and the goal text you enter. The list of apps you choose to block is stored locally on your device.
Usage data: We collect session data related to app blocking attempts, turn counts, and challenge outcomes. This data is used to power the Goalkeeper feature and may be stored on our servers to deliver the service.
Device information: We may collect device identifiers (such as Android Advertising ID), operating system version, and app version for analytics, crash reporting, and advertising purposes.
Friend notification data: If you optionally add a friend's phone number for accountability notifications, we store that number solely to deliver SMS messages when triggered. We do not use it for any other purpose.
2. Advertising (AppLovin MAX)
The free tier of HOPPP! displays advertisements served through AppLovin MAX. AppLovin and its advertising partners may collect and use device identifiers and usage data to serve interest-based advertisements.
AppLovin may collect: device identifiers, IP address, general location (country/region), device type and OS, in-app interaction data, and advertising interaction data.
AppLovin's services may involve measurement partners operating under the Open Measurement Working Group standards.
For more information about AppLovin's data practices, visit legal.applovin.com. To opt out of interest-based advertising by AppLovin, visit applovin.com/optout or use your device's advertising opt-out settings.
